Men — as fathers, brothers, coaches, teachers, uncles and mentors — are in a unique position to prevent domestic violence through action and conversation. Over the past five years, the Futures Without Violence (FWV) has refined its public education strategy to focus on men and boys as a critical part of the national movement to end violence against women and girls. Coaching Boys Into Men (CBIM) is the result of this shift – helping stop violence before it starts.

A version was also developed specifically for American Indian and Alaska Native communities by a committee of leaders working in Native communities and on violence prevention and is co-sponsored by Mending the Sacred Hoop Technical Assistance Project.
